Description
Experience the exploration of various multi-hued lakes such as the Rocotuyoc Lagoon and the Frozen Lagoon.
- Advance booking is recommended; last-minute reservations will be rescheduled based on availability.
- Our excursion will commence with hotel pickup near Huaraz's main square at 8:30 a.m. We'll head north, passing through the Marcará district.
- Upon entering Huascarán National Park, we'll embark on our hike, traversing the Paqcharuri ravine until we reach the Rocutuyocq Lagoon at an altitude of 4,550 meters.
- Continuing our trek, we'll ascend to the glacier tongue or frozen lagoon, offering breathtaking views of Paccharaju, Bayoraju, Akillpo, and other peaks.
- Next, we'll visit the Paqchruri waterfall and observe cave paintings.
- We'll make a lunch stop in the village of Marcará, where you can dine independently (average lunch cost: 30 soles).
- Finally, we'll return to Huaraz, with an estimated arrival time around 5:30 p.m.
