A visit to the lagoons of Rocotuyocq and Laguna Helada is an experience of a different kind
Our friendly pick-up service will be waiting for you at your hotel near the main square of Huaraz at 8:30 a.m. We will travel north, passing through the beautiful district of Marcará, and enter the breathtaking Huascaran National Park.
From there, we will start our hike, passing through the stunning Paqcharuri ravine until we reach the Rocutuyocq Lagoon (4,550 m.a.s.l.).
We will continue our hike to reach the glacier tongue or frozen lagoon, where you will have incredible views of Paccharaju, Bayoraju, Akillpo, and others.
First, we'll visit the stunning Paqchruri waterfall and admire the beautiful cave paintings.
Then, we'll take a break and enjoy a delicious lunch in the charming village of Marcará. The average cost of lunch is 30 soles.
Finally, we'll head back to the city of Huaraz, arriving around 5:30pm.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
