Huaraz: Private hiking route through the Rajucolta lagoon

In this guided tour through the Rajucolta lagoon, we will explore the impressive landscapes around the majestic Huantsan. A unique experience in the heart of Peru's natural beauty.
At 7:00 am we will depart from the agreed point in Huaraz in a comfortable minibus, heading to the charming village of Macashca, located in the heart of the Huascaran National Park. During the journey of approximately one hour, we will be able to enjoy the impressive views of the imposing Cordillera Blanca and we will accompany the serene waters of the Pariac River. Once in Macashca, we will begin our exciting hike that will take us to the dazzling Rajucolta Lagoon. This hike, which lasts two and a half hours, will give us the opportunity to marvel at the spectacular views of the majestic Huantsan snow-capped mountain, the source of this lagoon of crystalline glacial waters.

Upon arrival at Rajucolta, we will have the opportunity to enjoy an hour and a half of free time to admire and explore the breathtaking views of this natural water reservoir, which extends more than 4,200 meters above sea level. It is a perfect place to take pictures and connect deeply with the unspoiled nature that surrounds us. After this well-deserved rest, we will start our way back to Macashca, where our minibus will be ready to take us back to Huaraz.
The excursion will conclude at approximately 3:30 pm, leaving us with unforgettable memories of this adventure in which we have explored one of the most impressive natural jewels of Peru, with its captivating landscapes and the tranquility of its high mountains.
