ITINERARY:

Starting from the city of Huaraz we have two places of entry, by the route to Honcopampa and by the town of Marcará from where we will take a detour towards the Lagoon, but before we will pass through picturesque villages.

We continue through the Paqcharuri Gorge and its immense forest of native plants until we reach the Rocotuyoc lagoon, here we are already inside the Huascaran National Park.

The Rocotuyoc Lagoon is beautiful with its blue and emerald waters, we can also enjoy the Frozen Lagoon, to reach this lagoon we walk 30-45 minutes approximately. We will also observe the snow-capped mountains Paccharaju, Vallunaraju and Copa Norte, Vicos, Akilpo that make this circuit one of the most beautiful scenery of the Cordillera Blanca.
Then we visit the cave paintings of Llamaruri, the Paqcharuri waterfall and finally return to the city of Huaraz.

- Hike: 45 minutes one way and 45 minutes return.
