In this adventure we will explore the splendid diversity of the Huascaran National Park, hiking the María Josefa trail until we reach the impressive Chinancocha Lagoon.
We will start the day by picking you up at your hotel in Huaraz at around 9:00 a.m.
We will travel north along the Callejón de Huaylas, located between the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra, until we reach the Huascarán National Park.
Along the way, we will pass through several Andean villages and enjoy spectacular scenery. We will arrive at the Llanganuco ravine and the Chinancocha Lagoon, where we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes on the María Josefa trail, known for its quenual forests.
You will have a brief free time to explore the area and have lunch on your own.
Afterwards, we will visit the Campo Santo de Yungay before returning to Huaraz.
Arrival in Huaraz is scheduled for approximately 6:30 pm.
