Description

Day 1: Huaraz - Cebollapampa (3850 m) - Pisco Base Camp (4676 m).
Pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am with our transportation we will go to Cebollapampa for about 3 hours approx. During the trip we will be able to appreciate two beautiful lagoons in the valley of Llanganuco called Chinancocha and Orconcocha. We will continue until we reach Cebollapampa, where we will begin our hike to Pisco base camp, where we will camp.

Day 02: Base camp - Summit of Nevado Pisco (5752 m) - Base camp
We start the ascent between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m.; first by a winding trail, the path is a mixture of good trail with some demanding trails over moraine rocks and loose terrain until we reach the glacier, after 2 to 3 hours we will reach the glacier where we will equip ourselves with crampons, harnesses and ropes.
Most of the way is not very steep or technically difficult, although the altitude makes it a challenge. Depending on the season, there may be some short steep sections or hard ice and even some crevasses to overcome. We try to reach the summit early in the day. At the summit there is ample space to walk, appreciate the incredible surrounding mountains such as the gigantic Chacraraju, the Artesonraju (summit), Huandoys, Caraz, Huascaran, Alpamayo and others. Then we will descend to the Moraine camp where we will have our rest, lunch and continue to base camp.

Day 3: Base Camp - Cebollapampa 3800 m - Huaraz.
This day we will descend to Cebollapampa, where our transportation will be waiting for us to return to Huaraz.
