Visit the most representative places of the city of Trujillo.
Pick up time 10:30 am.
We go to the Moche countryside to appreciate the way of life of the Moche people, their leather work, wood and stone carvings, basketry, and others. Finally we arrive at the Huacas of the sun and the moon, considered a sanctuary, Mochica was constituted by a set of monuments physically represented the capital of the Mochica Culture.
Time for lunch.
At the end of lunch, we go to the Chan Chan site museum which exhibits various original objects found at Chan Chan Chan. Then we continue to Chanchan, composed of 9 citadels or palaces. Each one has similar formal characteristics such as: its monumental scale, very restricted access, the complexity and elaboration of its architectural forms. We continue the tour arriving at Huanchaco traditional fishing cove, whose inhabitants to this day retain many of the customs of their Mochica ancestors; so much so that the tiny boats called "caballitos" of reeds are still the main working tool of the current fisherman huanchaquero.
