Santa Cruz-Llanganuco trek is the best known and most classic of the Cordillera Blanca. It has a breathtaking beauty, ideal for people who do not want to spend too much time in the mountains.
This hike ascends the Santa Cruz Valley and crosses the Punta Unión pass at 4750m, below the spectacular peaks of the Cordillera Blanca and bordering turquoise glacial lagoons. Beautiful Andean wildflowers are prolific during trekking season.
