Description

Choose this trekking route if you want to know the imposing Andean mountain range with its magnificent landscapes, canyons, valleys and lakes that will allow you to take the best pictures.
Day 1: Huaraz - Cashapampa - Llamacorral
The tour of the first day can last 2 hours and 30 minutes, if you choose a means of transportation; but if you want to walk it can last up to 4 hours approximately. The tour starts with the pick up of the passenger from his hotel in Huaraz; and well during the trip there will be some stops to take some pictures and visit the city of Yungay after the events of 1970. Around 10:00 a.m. you will arrive in Cashapampa, where you will have time to get ready for the first day of trekking, while the muleteers load your luggage on the donkeys. This day you will walk to the first camp in Llamacorral, where you will arrive around 2 to 3 pm.

Day 2: Llamacorral - Mirador Alpamayo - Taullipampa
The second day begins with breakfast at Llamacorral camp, to leave for the next camping area located in Taullipampa, which is approximately 6 hours from the first camp, which will be ascended around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, from this space will have the opportunity to appreciate the best views of the snowy Alpamayo and Quitaraju, in addition to passing through two turquoise lagoons (Ichic Cocha and Jatun Cocha).

Day 3: Taullipampa - Punta Unión - Huaripampa
This day of trekking will have an approximate duration of 7 hours, for which we will depart from Taullipampa to Punta Union, an area that will allow you to take the best pictures of the valley.
In this sector we will take a brief rest, and then descend to the next camp called Cachinapampa near the town of Huaripampa, where we will arrive at approximately 3 pm.

Day 4: Huaripampa - Vaqueria - Huaraz
The last day you will only walk about 2 to 3 hours to the village of Vaqueria, during the walk you can see the houses of the villagers, children playing, some animals that are crossing the road.
Approximately at 11 am you will board the transport to go to Huaraz; on the route you will make some stops to take pictures of the Llanganuco valley, with views of the snow-capped mountains and turquoise lagoons. Finally you will arrive in Huaraz, where you will spend the night.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
