This hike is a short version of the well-known Alpamayo Circuit in the Cordillera Blanca. It is ideal for those who are short on time during the holidays, but still hope to hike to Alpamayo Base Camp through the Valley of the Cedars.
Day 01: Huaraz (3100 m) - Cowgirl + Hike to Paria (3650 m).
Day 02: Paria – Alto Pucaraju pass (4640m) – Quisuar (3900m/12792ft)
Day 03: Quisuar – pass Tupatupa (4400m) – Jancapampa
Day 04: Jancapampa - Yanacon pass - Safuna or Huillca camp
Day 05: Safuna - Mesapata pass - Face Face pass - Alpamayo crossing
Day 06: Extra day in Alpamayo countryside - hike to Mirador
Day 07: Alpamayo crossing - Ruinapampa - Osoruri field.
Day 08: Osoruri field - Osoruri and Vientunan pass - Cullicocha lagoon
Day 09: Descent to Hualcayan town - transport to Huaraz
