We start with a 6-hour drive from Huaraz to La Union. From there, we drive another half hour to Huanuco Pampa, located on an extensive plateau. During our visit, we will explore the fascinating and charming ancient Inca city of Huanuco Viejo while enjoying lunch.Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Queropalca, where we will set up our first camp

Day 3: Complementary excursion to the Siula Lagoons and return to Carhuacocha Camp.
We extend our stay in Carhuacocha to further appreciate the surrounding mountains and take a day hike through a side valley that passes near the impressive peaks of Yerupajá and Siula Grande, discovering three glacial lakes, each remarkably unique in their shades of blue or green. Occasionally, we witness avalanches breaking off the glaciers and falling into the lakes
Day 4: Vía Punta Carhuac to Mitucocha Lagoon
e climb steadily along a well-marked trail until we reach the Punta Carhuac pass, where we have a good chance of spotting the viscacha. From here, weather permitting, we will enjoy impressive views of the Yerupajá and Siula Grande peaks. We will descend through grasslands until we reach the Janca plateau, and then head southeast to reach tonight's campsite next to another large Mitucocha lagoon. After lunch, you will have the option to take a walk around the lake. From our camp, we contemplate the imposing faces of Jirishanca and Jirishanka Chico, offering magnificent views
Day 5: Mitucocha - Rondoy
We leave our campsite and head towards the Cacanampunta pass, located at 4750 meters above sea level. From this high point, we will be delighted with the impressive view of the other side of the valley and we will have the chance to see majestic condors gliding over the pass. Then, we will descend to our campsite in the Rondoy valley, located at 4350 meters above sea level
Day 6: Rondoy - Jahuacocha.
You will experience breathtaking panoramic views as we gradually ascend through the Rondoy Valley. Once at the top of the Rondoy Pass, we will descend towards the beautiful Jahuacocha Lagoon. We will set up camp at the head of the lagoon.
