Description
Explore the most important centers of the archaeological monument of Chavín, such as its square plaza, circular plaza and others. We will also learn about its history and how it developed.
-We begin this tour with a pick-up from our hotel (near the main square of Huaraz) at 8:30 am.
- We arrive at the monument, pass through the cities of Recuay, Tikapampa and Catac, cross the Sierra Blanca and stop briefly at Laguna Querococha.
-Continuing the tour, we will pass through the tunnels of Cahuish, Callejón de Conchucos, until we reach the town of Chavín, where we will visit the archaeological complex of Chavín, we will visit its main centers such as the circus, the castle, the labyrinth, the famous long spear, etc.
- We will visit the Chavín Museum where we will learn more about the development of the first high Andean culture in Peru.
- Return to Huaraz at approximately 7:00 p.m.
