The first section of our hike heads to a viewpoint near the Yanapacha glacier, where we will get stunning panoramic views of the high mountains that surround us. This is where we begin the first long descent along a path between rocks and then through a forest of Queñual trees to reach a glacial lagoon under the Yanapaccha Snow-capped mountain; From here we will continue descending until we join the classic route to Laguna 69 at approximately 4200 meters above sea level. Then we will ascend again for 3 km, passing by a lagoon called Consuelo and some impressive waterfalls until we reach Laguna 69 at 4600 meters above sea level after approximately 1 hour and a half of climbing.
