On this tour we will pick you up at 3:00 am and travel to the town of Catac, the gateway to the Nevado Huarapasca, in the south of the Cordillera Blanca. What is its peculiarity? This place is perfect to start ice climbing, since its route is fast and can be done in a single day.
Upon arrival, we will begin the ascent up the Nevado Huarapasca and, after an hour of walking, we will reach the glacier where we will begin the ice climbing. Do not worry! We will give you the necessary advice to carry out the activity in the safest way.
After four hours of ice climbing on the Huarapasca, we will reach the summit. While we enjoy the fascinating views that the Cordillera Blanca leaves us, we will rest and regain strength before beginning the descent.
Finally, we will return along the same upward path and we will drop you off at your hotel in Huaraz at approximately 7:00 p.m.
