Description
Alpamayo, mountain located in the northern part of the Cordillera Blanca, climbing this mountain is considered to be of a fairly high technical level.
Day 1.
Huaraz - Cashapampa - Llamacorral
Pick up at your hotel and transfer from Huaraz to Cashapampa. Here the muleteers will be waiting for us.
First camp in Llamacorral.
Day 2.
Llamacorral - Laguna de Jatuncocha - Quebrada de Arhuaycocha - Alpamayo Base Camp
Very early in the morning we will have a delicious breakfast and walk through the Santa Cruz ravine, passing by the Icchicocha and Jatuncocha until we reach the Arhuaycocha.
We arrive at the base camp of Alpamayo.
Day 3.
Alpamayo Base Camp - Moraine - Alpamayo High Camp
On our third day the trail is through the moraine with polished granite rocks and after overcoming them we will enter the glacier.
Day 4.
Alpamayo High Camp - Alpamayo Summit - Base Camp
Duration: 10-12 hours approx.
Day 5.
Alpamayo base camp - Santa Cruz Valley - Llamacorral
This day our muleteers and their donkeys will transport our luggage through the Santa Cruz valley until we arrive at the Llamacorral camp.
Day 6.
Llamacorral - Cashapampa - Huaraz
Return from Llamacorral camp to Cashapampa, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to the city of Huaraz.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
