Modalities

When you make your reservation, you can choose between two different modalities, both with pick up at your hotel in Lima and round trip transportation:

3.5 hour tour
In this option, we will start with a visit to the exterior of the archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana. In front of its 25-meter high pyramid, we will explore the pre-Hispanic history of Lima. If you are interested in learning what life was like between the years 200 and 800, this is your chance. Then, we will take a tour of Lima's historic center, admiring the facades of some of its most emblematic places.

We will also visit the Bodega y Quadra Museum, where we will immerse ourselves in the past with a valuable collection of objects from the viceroyalty, spanning the sixteenth to nineteenth centuries.

One of the most anticipated stops will be the Convent of Santo Domingo, where we will find the relics of Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres and San Juan Macias. In addition, we will visit a library with more than 25,000 antique books.

Schedules: departures at 8:30 am and 2:00 pm.

4.5 hour tour
If you prefer a more extensive visit, the 4.5 hour tour will allow you to explore Lima in more depth. We will see the pyramid of Huaca Huallamarca and also visit the Larco Museum, which houses the best private collection of pre-Columbian art in Peru. In addition, you will taste a delicious lucuma mousse, a dessert made with a local fruit.

After visiting the Santo Domingo Convent, one of the best preserved of the colony, we will climb its tower and conclude the activity.

Schedule: Departure at 8:30 am.

Pick up
The tour includes pick up from hotels located in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. If you are staying in other areas, we will contact you to coordinate an alternative meeting point.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
