Cusco: tour to Maras with salt massage + Moray and Misminay

Enjoy an incredible trip and culminate with a relaxing massage with Maras salt.
Between 8:00 and 8:30 we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. There we will begin an excursion that will take us to visit some of the great attractions of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Once the introductions are made, we will go to the town of Maras, where its homes with colonial facades are still preserved. We will go to the salt mines and their salt quarries, which date back to the Inca era. A truly unique landscape!
After knowing all the properties of this salt, we will move to Misminay. We will have a welcome snack that the neighbors of the community will offer us. Here we will see the way of life of the local people, which is based on agricultural and textile tasks. You will love to see their day to day life! Have you whetted your appetite? Before continuing, we will have a lunch consisting of a starter, a main dish and a drink.
Afterwards, we will begin a walk to the Moray viewpoint, from where you can see the archaeological center of Moray. At 3,500 meters above sea level we will find an amphitheater with circular platforms. Do you know what function it had in Inca times? We will tell you many curiosities while we tour this site!
On our return, a massage with Maras salt will be waiting for us. What benefits does it have for health? Several women from the community will tell us all about its properties while they apply a medicinal bath to our feet with these salts and different herbs.
After eight hours, we will end the excursion again at your hotel in Cusco.
