Description
Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas with their Archaeological sites of Maras, Moray, and Chinchero. You will also encounter the world-famous Machu Picchu, as well as the classic locations of the Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain.
Day 1: Arrival to Cusco
Your experience will begin as you meet your guides, who will be waiting for you as you arrive to Cusco. From there you will be led to your hotel, before having a free day to acclimatize to the altitude and explore downtown. This day is very important, as it will serve for rest and acclimatization in the city. That evening you will spend the night at the Cusco Jungle Hotel.
Day 2: Chinchero, Maras, Moray
Your second day will begin with pickup from your hotel before you head towards the colorful town of Chinchero. There you will find Inca walls and a small colonial church which holds plenty of history. Continuing your visit, you will go to the famous circular cultivation terraces of Moray. You will then descend towards to Maras Salt Mines, a location which makes for perfect photo opportunities. You'll visit more than 3,000 salt pools in an area where salt was used by the Incas for their consumption. You'll finish by heading towards Ollantaytambo Station to take a train to Aguas Calientes. That evening, you will stay in the Golden Sunrise Hotel (or similar).
Day 3: Machu Picchu
Day 3 will begin with you waking up very early to take a bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. Your guide will provide you with all the information on the site during a 2-hour guided tour during which you will learn about the historical sanctuary in all its splendor. You will later return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch, before taking a train back to Ollantaytambo, from where you will return to Cusco to be dropped off at your hotel.
Day 4: Humantay Lake
You will be picked up early from your hotel to travel to Mollepata, where you will have breakfast. You will then continue your journey to Soraypampa, your starting point for the walk. During the ascent, you will have the opportunity to observe the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit the area. You can observe some native birds of the area whilst enjoying the great views of the Andean landscape. Once you have arrived to the day's destination area, you can enjoy some snacks whilst delighting in the spectacular views of the Humantay Lagoon and its turquoise waters. You will later return to the city of Cusco to your accommodation at the Cusco Jungle Hotel.
Day 5: Visit to Rainbow Mountain
You will be picked up early from your hotel to head to Cusipata. Once there you'll take breakfast before continuing to the starting point of your trek. Once trekking you will observe the beautiful landscapes, alpacas, llamas, and Vicunas.
You'll soon arrive to Rainbow Mountain, where you can explore the area and take the time to get good pictures of the beautiful blanket of colors. You will later return to Cusipata for lunch, before traveling back to Cusco.
Day 6: Transfer to the Airport
On your final day you will have the morning free so you can relax and visit the city. Later, and according to your flight schedule, your guide will take you to the airport for your departure.

Option 1: Airport
When you arrive in Cusco, one member of Inkayni team will be waiting for you at the airport. As you exit the customs area to the arrival lobby, an Inkayni representative will be waiting for you with a signal with your name. This person will provide you the transfer to your Hotel.
Option 2: Bus Terminal
In the case of the bus terminal. When you arrive in Cusco, one member of Inkayni will be waiting for you in the bus waiting area bringing a signal with your name.
NOTE:
About tours during the package, we will pick you up from the hotels we previously will book for you.
Drop-off/End point description:
Once the package has finished, we'll drop you off in Cusco airport, bus terminal or somewhere within the city. You have to provide us the schedule you prefer this transfer take place.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
