Puno: 2 days of Rural Tourism in Uros, Amantani and Taquile

Discover the magnificent landscapes that embrace Lake Titicaca on this exciting two-day journey. Embark on a boat ride across the lake, recognized as the highest navigable body of water on the planet.
Day 1: Exploration of Uros and Amantani Islands
We will start the day with the transfer from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. Next, we will go to the port to board the boats that will take us to the famous floating islands of the Uros. Once on these islands, our guide will immerse us in the fascinating local history and culture.
Subsequently, we will embark on a trip of approximately three hours to the island of Amantani. There, a local family will welcome us into their home to share a meal.
In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to climb to the top of the island and watch the beautiful sunset over Lake Titicaca.

Day 2: Visit to Taquile
The day begins with a traditional breakfast courtesy of the host family. Then, we will say goodbye and head towards the island of Taquile on a boat trip of approximately one hour, during which we will be able to admire the beautiful landscapes that surround Lake Titicaca.
Upon arrival, we will embark on a tour of the island, ascending to its highest point to visit the colorful artisan markets of the town and observe the varied chullos made by local men.
Before leaving, we will enjoy lunch with a panoramic view of the lake, then descend the 538 stone steps to take our boat back to the city of Puno.
We estimate to arrive around 6:00 p.m., thus marking the end of our services on the Excursion to the Uros Taquile and Amantani Islands.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
