On this excursion to the Amazon we will enter the longest and largest river in the world aboard a boat. What animals will we find? What mysteries will we discover?
Itinerary
After picking them up, we will go to the Iquitos jungle, where a boat will be waiting for us that will take us to navigate the Amazon River.
We will begin a pleasant excursion with a specialized guide in this tropical paradise. We will feel on our skin that the temperature of the Amazon is warm all year round.
On our excursion we will see the lushness of a jungle that occupies most of the Peruvian territory and has rainforest vegetation. In addition, we will see the royal victories floating, the largest leaves in the world.
If we are lucky, we will see some animal species of this ecosystem, such as the tamarin monkey, the sloth, the poison dart frog or the black caiman. We will have the opportunity to visit an authentic serpentarium, which houses snakes such as the anaconda. With this experience, animal lovers will be able to safely see species in their natural habitat.
Before leaving the serpentarium, we will taste some liqueurs that are prepared from the bark extracted from the trees. Someone is hungry? We will enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant.
We will visit the indigenous Yahuas, who will show us their culture and beliefs while we contemplate some of their dances and rituals. This is a way to discover the way of life of people who remain practically isolated.
