From Iquitos: Overnight accommodation in Amazon 2 days

Embark on a unique experience in the Amazon, where you will explore nature, learn about ancient cultures and enjoy wildlife in its natural habitat.
Day 1:
We will start the day with pick up from your accommodation or the airport between 9:00 and 9:30 am. After a brief tour of Iquitos, we will embark on a boat from the port of Nanay, making a stop at the confluence of the Nanay River with the Amazon. We will sail for 1 hour and 30 minutes, enjoying the local nature and wildlife, before arriving at our rustic lodge.

After a botanical walk, we will enjoy lunch with local products. Afterwards, we will visit Monkey Island, a rescue center where we will interact with various species. We will also look for dolphins in the river and have time for a refreshing swim. At nightfall, we will have dinner at the lodge and take a night walk to observe wildlife. We will spend the night in a private room.

Day 2:
The second day we will start with a morning birding and wildlife expedition. We will go on an ethnobotanical walk, learning about medicinal plants and their cultural importance. After a fresh breakfast, we will visit the Yahua tribe to learn about their culture and purchase handicrafts. We will also participate in an artisanal piranha fishing activity. Finally, we will enjoy a typical lunch before returning by boat to the port of Nanay and transfer to your accommodation or the airport.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
