Itinerary:
Departure to visit the Jewels de Mayascong,
• We will visit the natural area of Ferreñafano dry forest, walking thirty minutes from the Mayascon town, its area is made up of carob and fig trees, typical of the Equatorial dry forest, as waterfalls and pools that are twelve meters in diameter,
• Then there will be free time to listen to the sound of the birds and look at the mountains.
• The hike up to the pools is very moderate, and a nice scenic trail. You will find a giant rock shaped like a lion on the way, making for a nice photo stop. After just 30 minutes you will arrive at the first pool. This place is yet to be discovered by many, which is amazing, because it isn't overcrowded, allowing you to enjoy this place.
• Each pool is just a short climb to the next, some just a few steps walking along the rocks, and some with the help of ropes. There are a total of 8 pools, one prettier than the next. Enjoy!
