Hike inside the Colca Canyon 2 DAYS with meals in Arequipa

A unique excursion through the Colca Canyon to discover its beautiful landscapes and enjoy an unforgettable walk.
DAY 1 AREQUIPA / CABANACONDE / SANGALLE 03:00am to 03:30am Passengers are picked up from their respective hotels, then depart towards the Colca Canyon, after approximately four hours of travel we will arrive at the main town of the Valley, Chivay, where we will make a brief stop for breakfast and then continue the trip until we reach the town of Cabanaconde from where we will begin the descent towards the base of the Colca Canyon, on our tour we will have different spectacular views of the canyon, crossing the bridge we will arrive at the town of San Juan de Chuccho, where we can take a break and have lunch enjoying the beauty of the mountains, in a restaurant run by the families of the town. We will continue our tour to Cosñirhua, which is about 1 hour on a steep road and then, on a flatter road to the village of Malata and we will finish our tour in Sangalle (Oasis), a beautiful place located between the mountains of the canyon and where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the local pools. We will have dinner and spend the night in cabins (basic) DAY 2: SANGALLE / CABANACONDE / CHIVAY / AREQUIPA 04:30am the ascent will begin, it is a zigzag and quite steep road, but after about 3 hours we will have the satisfaction of finishing this beautiful route. We will have breakfast at a local restaurant, and then we will take our vehicle and head to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, from where you have one of the most beautiful views of the Colca Canyon and from where you usually see the impressive flight of the condors, return to Chivay and optional visit to the Chacapi hot springs. Lunch and return to Arequipa, arriving between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
