The time slot you choose in the booking is for the Heineken Experience. The canal cruise ticket will be an open ticket.
A time slot for the canal cruise must be reserved upon arrival in Amsterdam. There are 16 'Tours & Tickets' shops in the city centre of Amsterdam where you can validate your open Canal cruise ticket for a time slot ticket. With the timeslot reservation you can also choose the preferred departure point. Departure points are Amsterdam CS, Rijksmuseum (near Heineken Experience), Leidse Plein and Anne Frank Museum.
The Heineken Experience offers interesting information about the company’s history in English. A visit typically lasts 1.5 hours
Minimum age for the Heineken Experience is 18 years
In accordance with Dutch law, alcoholic beverages won’t be served to visitors under 18 years old
There is an audioguide on the boat. The Heineken Experience doesn't include an audioguide
Only service dogs (who must be identifiable as such) are allowed on the boat
Heineken Experience: Please check in at Heineken Brewery, located at Stadhouderskade 78. Show your (smartphone) ticket when entering the attraction. Please note it is only possible to access the attraction at your chosen time-slot. Reach the Heineken Experience with tram numbers 1, 7, 19, and 24, or metro line 52. The nearest GVB tram and metro station is Vijzelgracht.
Canal Cruise: The Canal Cruise can only be accessed with a pre-booked time-slot. In order to pre-book a specific time-slot, please show your (smartphone) ticket at the "Tours & Tickets" office located at Damrak 26, Amsterdam. Reach the ticket office with tram numbers 2, 4, 12, 13, 14, 17, and 24. The nearest GVB tram station is Central Station. Look for the building with "Tours & Tickets" written in red above the shop door.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
