The tour starts at your pick up point in Muscat,

The first stop will be at Nizwa historical city where the fort and souq are found. A walking tour starts out there where you have the possibility to buy Omani products including dates and spices. It will be followed by a visit to the fort where the historical aspect will be the HIGHLIGHT. The tour is incomplete without the walk through the narrow alleys of Alaqar, the centre of knowledge and command back in the old days. There will be an opportunity to have some drinks in the terrace of one of the traditional cafes.

Afterwards, the tour continues to Green mountain or as called in Arabic “Jebel Alakhdar”. It is another aspect of Omani way of living which explains the the adaptability of Omani old civilization to the rough circumstances of mountainous nature. There you can take mind-boggling pictures sure only if you are a good photographer .

There will be a lunch stop if required by the clients. The costs of meals NOT INCLUDED in the tour.

The duration of the tour;
1.5 hours from Muscat to Nizwa
25 minutes from Nizwa to Green Mountain
30 minutes mountain drive
1 hour from mountain to Muscat.
The staying time is not counted above.

IMPORTANT NOTES;
1. The spots to be visited could be changed as per the agreement of with the client if he required to visit a specific spot and the ability to conduct it by the guide.
2. If it is a group and an agreement not found, then the main itinerary will be considered which is stated above.
3. The visits can be changed in case if bad climate conditions or contradiction with opening hours.
4. If you have any special requirements, it is our pleasure to serve but advise us before-hands please.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
