Follow the meandering Hutt River downhill from its source at Kaitoke to its end at Seaview, then ride around the bays to Days Bay. Finish with a scenic ferry cruise back to Wellington's CBD.

We shuttle you up to Kaitoke, where you start your adventure following the meandering Hutt River downhill from its source at Kaitoke to its end at Seaview, then ride around the coastline to the beautiful Days Bay on a comfortable mountain bike. You can either drop your bikes off at Wildfinder Days Bay and go for a paddle on a kayak or SUP (open during summer season only), then jump on the ferry back to Wellington. 46km of moderate riding, suitable for riders with reasonable levels of fitness.

Please meet outside the station at 9.30am. We will arrive in a white van with 'Wildfinder' signage with a bike trailer, very obvious to spot!
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
