Auckland: Hobbiton Movie Set Tour with Lunch

Journey from Auckland to the Hobbiton Movie Set for a fully-guided tour and a buffet lunch at Party Marquee.
Tour includes return transport with full commentary from Auckland, entry and guided tour of Hobbiton Movie Set, a tasty lunch, and a complimentary beverage at the Green Dragon Inn. 

Be picked up from your Auckland accommodation at between 6.30-7am and travel down through the Waikato region. Your guide will share insights with you about the surrounding areas as well as the movie trilogies 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit'. On arrival at Shire’s Rest, your Hobbiton guide will greet you and take you on a magical journey to Middle Earth. Be immersed in the sights, smells, sounds, and tastes of The Shire, at the home of the Hobbits! 

Sample an exclusive specially brewed beverage at the Green Dragon Inn to conclude your adventure. Then enjoy a beautiful buffet lunch at the Party Marquee. In addition, you'll have a $10 souvenir voucher to spend at the Hobbiton gift shop. Afterwards, depart for Auckland to be dropped back to your accommodation at approximately 3:30 PM.

*please note from 1 December 2023 Hobbiton will be starting their amazing 'Bag Shot Row' experience. This will mean a 4pm return time to Auckland & a price increase to include this new enhanced tour where you can venture 'beyond the door' and into an authentic Hobbit Hole interior.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
