Go in search of the magnificent Northern Lights on a guided photography tour in a comfortable vehicle. Discover remote scenery within the Arctic Circle as you try to capture this spectacular natural phenomenon.
Meet in central Tromsø and set out into the wilderness in search of the Northern Lights. Upon reaching suitable skies, set up camp for the evening. Most of the time this is a shorter drive to the surrounding coastal islands of Tromsø, or if needed, a longer drive into Finland.
Some nights the Northern Lights are visible en route to the camp location, and can last throughout the evening. Other nights require patience and positivity, for you to witness a faint glow across the horizon.
Enjoy the serene surroundings of the camp in warm thermal clothing. Gather around the roaring campfire, and enjoy a locally made expedition meal, cookies, and hot beverages with your fellow travelers.
You guide will help you capture vibrant moments of you and the Aurora. If you choose to bring your own camera they can offer help and advice on how to get the most out of your photographs. All images will be shared with you the very next day after your excursion.
