Get off the train when it arrives in Geilo, then look for the bus (Jaunt Norway sign in the windshield) which has enough space for 1 suitcase per person. You will have a bit of time for a snack at Geilo before the bus departs at 12:45 (Arrival time in Geilo at 11:53)
Begin your adventure on an air-conditioned bus through the Hardangevidda mountain plateau, home to Europe's largest reindeer population. The plateau reaches 1500 meters above sea level, with snow sometimes lasting until August.
Watch the landscape transform as you ascend the plateau, far above the tree line.
Stop at the Vøringfossen waterfall, a stunning natural wonder with a 182-meter drop. Spend 30 minutes admiring the waterfall and visit the Fossli Hotel café and public toilets.
Next, drive into the valley to the charming village of Eidfjord. Continue along the fjord until you pass through a tunnel, with a traffic circle inside the tunnel
and reach the Hardanger Bridge, a 55-meter-tall, 1,380-meter-long engineering feat that is the longest bridge in Norway and the 10th-longest in the world when it opened.
Now continue on the other side of the Hardangerfjord, this part of the Fjord is renowned for its natural beauty, and later drive through the charming village of Øystese.
Lastly, visit Steinsdalsfossen waterfall, where you can walk behind the 50-meter cascade. Enjoy time at the cozy café and souvenir store.
Board the bus for the final 1.5-hour journey to Bergen, where you'll be dropped off in the city center.

Once in Geilo, look for the bus (Mercedes Sprinter or large coach) directly in front of the train station. It will have a sign in the windshield saying "Jaunt Norway." If the bus stop is taken by other buses, you will find the bus a few meters further down in the village.
