The Sip & Savour Tour is focused on tantalizing the taste buds, with some food pairings to compliment your Waiheke wine tasting experience. Enjoy award-winning olive oil, locally farmed Te Matuku oysters (when available) as well as other locally produced delights whilst sipping some of our world-famous award-winning wines at three boutique vineyards, followed by a shared platter lunch with a glass of wine.
Start your day by taking the 9am ferry from Auckland - Matiatia Wharf (Waihehe Island). On arrival one of our tour guides will be waiting to welcome you to our beautiful island.
Sample Itinerary:
8:30 - Arrive at Downtown ferry terminal for your 9am sailing to Waiheke
9:00 - Depart Auckland on Fullers sailing to Waiheke Island or pick up from your Waiheke accommodation
9:45 - Ferry arrives at Waiheke island
9:50 - Tour departs
10:00 - Coffee kick starter at one of our local hot spots
11:00 - Mudbrick vineyard (wine tasting)
12:00 - The Batch vineyard (food pairing wine tastings)
13:00 - Casita Miro vineyard (food pairing wine tastings)
14:00 - Stonyridge vineyard (shared platter lunch + glass of wine)
16:00 - Tour concludes – Depart Waiheke on Fullers sailing to Auckland or drop off at your Waiheke accommodation

Your 9am ferry sailing from Auckland to Waiheke will take approximately 45min (unless sailing on a weekend which will include a quick stop via Devonport and takes an additional 10min). On arrival to Waiheke Island, your tour guide will meet you on the wharf. Lookout for "The Wine Tasting Company" sign board with your name on it.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
