Morkporks, Weta and many other nocturnal creatures can be found in this magical forest. Enjoy this trek through the darkness and discover something new with every twist and turn of the trail. With our small group size there is plenty of time to interact with nature and your guide will certainly bring the nocturnal environment to life.
Before departing from Rotorua, Stephen your highly experienced guide will kit you out with the necessary equipment including several specialised flashlights, boots or wet weather gear if need for the night's tour. After a scenic 25 minute drive the real adventure begins. A two kilometer guided walk under the canopy of a magical native rain forest, you
will encounter uneven ground, tripping hazards such as tree roots and rocks do exist so a reasonable level of fitness and balance is required.
