This 31-day South Island guided tour starts in Christchurch, crosses the Southern Alps twice, dawdles down the magnificent West Coast, loiters in Queenstown and Fiordland, meanders along the wild Southern Coast, before weaving up through the incredibly scenic Central Otago and inland Canterbury regions to finish in the quaint French village of Akaroa.
Along the way, experience the South Island’s many highlights. Visit world-famous whale and dolphin watching spots, internationally renowned dark-sky reserves, a thermal spa village, mighty glaciers, turquoise alpine rivers and lakes, and the opportunity to see both Milford and Doubtful Sounds.
You'll also spend time in the adventure capital of Queenstown to experience the many world-class attractions and activities on offer, as well as visiting the country’s highest mountain, the primeval forests, waterfalls and coastlines of The Catlins, and the historic gold towns of Arrowtown, Naseby, St Bathans, and Dunedin.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
