Ever wanted to cruise through the canals of Amsterdam with your own boat? This is your chance!
At Canal Motorboats we rent out boats to individuals, where you can be your own skipper. Each boat can hold up to 8 persons.
We have three locations where you can pick up the boat, 2 locations in Amsterdam Centre and 1 location in Amsterdam East. All boats hold a maximum of 8 persons. Boats are rented for a minimum of 2 hours, and cancelation policy is 48 hours. There are some strict rules in Amsterdam if you are you own skipper so please read our special conditions, as for instance music is not allowed to be played on the boat.

It is forbidden to play music on the boat.
You are not allowed to sail on the IJ.
The person driving the boat must be at least 18 years old and sober
Organising drinking parties, excessive alcohol and/or drug consumption is strictly prohibited.
Note: Any fines for gross misconduct (such as excessive alcohol consumption) are for the renter.
There is a €250 excess in case of damage and accident, this will be settled afterwards.
Location is at Nassaukade 341. It is near the food corner mr falafel, you will recognize our dock with our typical navy blue boats.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
