Be amazed by the many species living side by side in the Forest House and Bird House. Scroll through the historic city park with its many monuments, centuries-old trees and beds full of colorful and fragrant flowers. Watch giraffes, zebras and kudus intermingling on the Savannah.

Children's balance bikes are currently not allowed in ARTIS

Opening hours:
1 March until 31 October: 9 am - 6 pm
1 November until 28 February: 9 am - 5 pm
If taking the GVB Public transport, catch Tram 14 from Amsterdam Central Station that stops at ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo. Tram stops 7 and 19 are at walking distance from ARTIS. The nearest metro station is Waterlooplein, a 10-minute walk from ARTIS.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
