Description

The Catcabinet is a museum in a Golden Bow building that exposes a unique art collection of paintings, vintage posters, sculptures and other artefacts associated with cats.
The Cat Cabinet opened its doors in 1990, disclosing a unique exposition of art with cats.
The house itself was build in 1667, and located at the so-called Golden Bend: the most prestigious part of the Herengracht. In contrast to the other buildings, most of which have been converted into offices, this building is the only permanently inhabited house on this part of the Herengracht.
