Description
Drift through the canals of Amsterdam enjoying many gin and tonics on a 1-hour sightseeing cruise. Listen to facts about the city's culture as you drink and sit back and relax with beautiful views.
Come on board of our luxurious “Gin & Tonic Cruise” and enjoy the beautiful sightseeings from the canals of Amsterdam.
Our lovely hostess will serve you an authentic Gin & Tonic or other refreshing drinks you’ll like, while the captain entertains you with fun facts about Amsterdam’s history and culture!
From the heart of Amsterdam, we bring you the best Dam citrus-forward gin. With 17 different ingredients that give Damrak Gin it's good taste and the cheerful bottle and fresh citrus notes. Damrak is everything but a standard London dry gin, available with or without Alcohol (virgin).
The Damrak harbor (Amsterdam’s “inner harbor”) is the mooring place for merchant ships of the Dutch East India company arriving from and departing to exotic ports across the globe. Here herbs, fruits and spices are unloaded before being weighed and tested for quality.
Several of those spices historically traded in Damrak harbor are used in the Gin recipe today.
If you would prefer some other than our Damrak Gin & Tonic then we have other delicious premium mixers à la carte and soft drinks for you onboard, included on this cruise.
Hear fun facts about the city, past, and present, as you cruise the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Canal Belt. Enjoy a wide choice of hot and cold drinks from our well-stocked bar, and avail of the fleece blankets on both the open and closed boats.
Sit back and relax as you look at the merchant houses, abundant trees, and beautiful gardens of the city center. The planned urban sprawl served as an example around the world well into the 19th century, and the network of canals extends for 14 kilometers and boasts some 80 bridges.
Sail along the River Amstel and pass the Hermitage Museum. See the Royal Theatre Carré and famous Skinny Bridge, marvel at the contemporary architecture of the NEMO Science Museum, and cruise along the famous 7 Bridges section of the Reguliersgracht.
