Description

Take a beautiful bike ride through St. Maarten/St. Martin's multicultural island center and enjoy magnificent views of the Atlantic coastline and a swim and drink at the famous Orient Beach.
Take a memorable cycling tour through Sint Maarten/Saint Martin where you will ride along beautiful coastline, as well as travel through the centre of one of the most multicultural islands of the Caribbean.

Starting from Philipsburg, you’ll meet your guide and get a brief introduction to cycling in St. Maarten on your Trek Hardtail Electric-Assist Bike before setting out. You will leave Philipsburg and descend to the charming Oyster Pond Bay, a quaint residential area situated on a lagoon shared by the Dutch and French sides of the island.

You will continue, crossing from the Dutch side to French St. Martin, along the eastern coastline, where you’ll have the opportunity to see magnificent views of the rugged Atlantic coastline and our neighbouring island of St. Barths. Your pedalling will soon bring you to the beautiful Le Galion Beach and then Orient Beach where you will have time for a refreshing drink at a local restaurant and a dip in the ocean. You will return to Philipsburg via French Quarter, located in the middle of the island.

This bike ride is considered Moderate - difficult. It includes some hills and riding with traffic.
If you are arriving by cruise ship, exit your ship and walk to the end of the shopping strip. Look for the statue of Pieter Stuyvesant or ask where the exit to the EDC parking lot is. The bikes are in this area and you will easily spot them. If you are staying on the island, you can park at Bobby's Marina and walk to the EDC parking lot. Your guide will look for you by the white tent.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
