Kathmandu: 5 Days Annapurna Mardi Himal Trek

Itinerary:

Day 1:
7:00 am Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a luxury tourist bus to reach Pokhara. Rest at hotel and prepare for the trek tomorrow as we will help you with your luggage and equipment you need for the trek. (7 hours drive)

Day 2:
8:00 am Early morning after breakfast, We drive to Kande in a private car from where we will start our trek. A comfortable walk on the first day and we will reach Forest Camp. Hike for 6 hours

Day 3: After breakfast we make our way higher into the Himalayas through the evergreen forests of the lower Himalayas. We will reach Badal danda and rest above the clearing for a great scenic view of the Annapurna ranges. Hike for 6 to 7 Hours

Day 4: Early morning hike to reach High camp and then we continue on to Mardi Himal base camp. After a short stay we catch our breath and then trek back to Low camp.

Day 5: After breakfast we head downhill towards Siding from where a jeep will be waiting for us to take us back to Pokhara. An off road jeep adventure awaits us as we head on towards the city. We will drop you at your hotel or the destination you want for a good night rest.

It is relatively less crowded and also maybe the reason why you can get an authentic cultural experience of the traditions and culture among the sparse villages inhabited by the locals. You get to see the Machapuchre mountain up close surrounded by the Annapurna mountain ranges. You can see quaint villages, dense forests and the vast openness of the night sky with an amazing backdrop of the Himalayan ranges. This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
