Our 4 Days Ghorepani Poon Hill Circuit Trek start and end in Pokhara. The short Poon Hill trek offers a quick yet immersive Himalayan experience. Traversing through charming villages like Ghorepani and Ghandruk, trekkers encounter the rich culture of the Gurung community. The highlight is the sunrise from Poon Hill, unveiling a spectacular panoramic view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, making this short trek a perfect blend of cultural exploration and breathtaking scenery.

Trek details itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul & trek to Ullerai (2,070 meters) – 5-6 hrs trek
You will be picked up by our guide from your hotel in Pokhara and then take you on a scenic one and half hour drive to Nayapul. We will start the trek from Nayapul to Ulleri (around 5-6 hours). As we settle down for the day, at Ulleri we will be experiencing the hospitality and culture of Magar community. Stay night at local teahouse.

Day 2: Trek to Ghorepani (2,850 meters) – 5-6 hrs trek
After breakfast, we will be heading for Ghorepani. The trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani is a scenic ascent through terraced hills and charming villages in the Annapurna region of Nepal. As trekkers climb stone-paved steps, they witness breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. We will have lunch at Nangethati. After having lunch, we will continue our journey to Ghorepani. Ghorepani, perched at a higher elevation, welcomes with its warm hospitality and serves as a gateway to the stunning Poon Hill viewpoint.

Day 3: Early morning hike to Poon-Hill (3,210 meters) and then trek to Ghandruk (1,940 meters) – 8/9 hrs trek
Early morning we will hike to Poon Hill for a magical experience, with the trail illuminated by the pre-dawn glow. Upon reaching Poon Hill, trekkers are rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise view, painting the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges in hues of pink and gold. After soaking in this awe-inspiring spectacle, the trek descends back to Ghorepani for a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Energized, the journey continues towards the picturesque Ghandruk village, surrounded by terraced fields and offering a glimpse into the traditional Gurung way of life. This day unfolds as a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and cultural immersion in the heart of the Annapurna region.

Day 4: Trek to Nayapul and then drive back to Pokhara – 5 hrs trek
Our trek from Ghandruk village to Nayapul is a scenic descent through charming landscapes and traditional Gurung settlements. From Nayapul, we will take a private vehicle that provides a comfortable drive to Pokhara, allowing trekkers to relax and enjoy the picturesque views along the way. This seamless transition from trek to transportation adds convenience to the journey, concluding the adventure with a smooth return to the lakeside city of Pokhara.
