Embark on a 10-day trek from Pokhara to the Annapurna Base Camp. Hike deep into the heart of the Annapurna Himalayas and admire stunning views of snow-capped peaks and diverse landscapes.
Day 1: Pokhara to Nayapul to Tikhedhunga
Take a morning drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (about 1.5 hours). Begin the trek from Nayapul and follow the trail along the Modi Khola. Pass through several small villages and terraced fields. Reach Tikhedhunga (1,577m) and stay overnight.
Day 2: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
Start the day by ascending the steep stone steps known as Ulleri. Continue trekking through rhododendron forests and charming villages. Reach Ghorepani (2,874m) and enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Stay overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 3: Ghorepani to Tadapani
Wake up early and hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m) to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas. Descend back to Ghorepani and have breakfast. Continue trekking through beautiful forests and rhododendron-filled valleys. Reach Tadapani (2,630m) and spend the night there.
Day 4: Tadapani to Chhomrong
Start the day with a gradual descent through lush forests. Pass through Gurjung village and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region. Trek downhill to the Kimrong Khola, then ascend to Chhomrong (2,170m).
Chhomrong is a large Gurung village with stunning views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak. Stay overnight in Chhomrong.
Day 5: Chhomrong to Bamboo
Descend to the Chhomrong Khola and cross the suspension bridge. Climb up to Sinuwa and continue trekking through thick bamboo and rhododendron forests. Reach Bamboo (2,310m) and rest for the night.
Day 6: Bamboo to Deurali
Resume trekking through bamboo forests and the Modi Khola valley. Pass by the Himalayan Hotel and Hinku Cave. Ascend steadily to Deurali (3,230m) and spend the night there.
Day 7: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
Trek through a narrow valley that opens up to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Pass through Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m) and continue to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m).
Arrive at the base camp, surrounded by towering peaks, including Annapurna I (8,091m). Stay overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 8: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
Wake up early to enjoy sunrise views over the majestic mountains. Begin descending from Annapurna Base Camp. Trek back through Deurali and Bamboo. Reach Bamboo and rest for the night.
Day 9: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
Continue descending through the forests. Reach Chhomrong and have lunch. Descend further to Jhinu Danda (1,780m). Relax in natural hot springs in Jhinu Danda to soothe your muscles. Overnight stay in Jhinu Danda.
Day 10: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul to Pokhara
Trek from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul. Drive back to Pokhara, concluding the trek.

Weather and Seasons: The Poonhill and Annapurna base camp trek can be done throughout the year, but the best time to trek is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. These months offer stable weather conditions and clear mountain views. However, weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, and trekkers should be prepared for changes in weather and temperature.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
