Jomsom is a town located in the Mustang district of Nepal. It is situated at an altitude of 2,743 meters above sea level and is a popular destination for trekkers and tourists. Jomsom is also known as Dzongsam or New Fort, as it used to be a military fort in the past.
One of the main attractions of Jomsom is its stunning natural beauty. The town is situated in a valley between two Himalayan peaks - Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains, as well as the Kali Gandaki River which flows through the valley.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
We will pick you up from your hotel in Pokhara and drive straight to Jomsom, on the way we will get to see beautiful villages like Lete, Kagbeni and Marpha. Overnight at Jomsom (Drive time: 8 hours)
Day 2:
After exploring the beautiful Jomsom village, we wil drive to Muktinath a very sacred temple and then head back to Pokhara.
