Start your 14-day trekking journey to the Annapurna Base Camp from Kathmandu to Pokhara by flying and start trekking onward. Along the journey, enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna range, Mt. Machhapuchhre (6993m), Mt. Hiunchuli (6443m), and many other snowy peaks.
The trail takes you through rhododendron forests, which will excite and entertain your children. The waterfall, rivers, glaciers, frozen trails, suspension bridges, and the forests will certainly turn your child into great storytellers.
This trek will take your family to two base camps, Annapurna Base Camp and Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Apart from this, interacting with other children from the Himalayan region, and playing with chicken and goats will carve a long-lasting memory in your child's mind.
Your family can have an engaging time dressing up in Gurung attire in Ghandruk Museum. In case your child feels tired, there will be a provision of renting a horse, which will not only relieve his/her tiredness but also add on to their exciting experience.
The best time to attempt this trek is during spring (March-May) or during autumn (September-November). So, fall, spring breaks can be utilized for this 2 weeks journey.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu 1338m
Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara 820m/25 minutes, drive to Phedi 1130m and trek to Dhampus Village 1650m/3 hours
Day 3: Trek from Dhampus Village to Tolka 1700m/5 hours
Day 4: Trek from Tolka to Jhinu Danda 1780m/5 hours
Day 5: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Sinuwa 2340m/5 hours
Day 6: Trek from Sinuwa to Himalaya 2920m/5 hours
Day 7: Trek from Himalaya to MBC 3700m/5 hours,
Day 8: Trek from MBC to ABC 4130m/2 hours
Day 9: Trek from ABC to Dovan 2505m/5 hours
Day 10: Trek from Dovan to Chhomrong 2170m/5 hours
Day 11: Trek from Chhomrong to Ghandruk Village 1940m/5 hours
Day 12: Trek from Ghandruk to Kimche 1640m/1 hour and drive to Pokhara 820m/4 hours

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
