Here's a full description of the trek from Pokhara to Annapurna Base Camp:

Pokhara: The trek usually begins in Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city and the gateway to the Annapurna region. Pokhara is easily accessible by road or a short domestic flight from Kathmandu.

Nayapul: From Pokhara, you'll drive to Nayapul, which is the starting point of the trek. It takes around 1-2 hours to reach Nayapul from Pokhara by private vehicle.

Tikhedhunga/Ulleri: From Nayapul, you'll start trekking and pass through charming villages, terraced fields, and lush forests. The first day's destination is usually Tikhedhunga or Ulleri, where you'll spend the night. This is a moderate day of trekking.

Ghorepani: The next day, you'll continue the ascent towards Ghorepani. The trail includes a steep climb up around 3,000 stone steps known as the Ulleri staircase. Ghorepani is a popular village located at an elevation of 2,850 meters. It offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South.

Poon Hill: Before heading to Annapurna Base Camp, you'll make an early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 meters). Poon Hill is a famous viewpoint known for its panoramic sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After enjoying the sunrise, you'll return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trekking.

Tadapani: From Ghorepani, you'll trek through beautiful rhododendron forests and small villages. The trail offers glimpses of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and other peaks. Tadapani, situated at an altitude of 2,630 meters, is the destination for the day. It's a great place to witness stunning sunset views.

Chhomrong: The trail from Tadapani descends through forests to the Kimrong Khola. You'll cross the river and then ascend to Chhomrong, a Gurung village located at an altitude of 2,170 meters. Chhomrong offers spectacular views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.

Dovan: Leaving Chhomrong, you'll descend to the Chhomrong Khola and then climb up to Sinuwa. From Sinuwa, the trail continues through bamboo and rhododendron forests until you reach Dovan. Dovan is situated at an altitude of 2,600 meters and serves as a popular resting point.

Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC): The trek from Dovan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (also known as MBC) is a gradual ascent. MBC is located at an elevation of 3,700 meters and provides stunning views of Machhapuchhre and surrounding peaks. You'll spend the night here.

Annapurna Base Camp (ABC): The final leg of the trek takes you from MBC to Annapurna Base Camp. It's a relatively short hike, but the altitude gain is significant. Reach Tikhedhunga (1,577m) and stay overnight.
Day 2: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani

Start the day by ascending the steep stone steps known as Ulleri.
Continue trekking through rhododendron forests and charming villages.
Reach Ghorepani (2,874m) and enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.
Stay overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 3: Ghorepani to Tadapani

Wake up early and hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m) to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas.
Descend back to Ghorepani and have breakfast.
