Embark on a 19-day trek to the Everest Base Camp with Kalapathar. Starting from Lukla, Nepal, trek through picturesque Sherpa villages, dense forests, and high-altitude terrain, ultimately reaching the Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5,364 meters (17,598 feet).

Along the way, pass through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery, and Gorak Shep before ascending Kalapathar, a renowned viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and surrounding peaks. This trek is not only a physical challenge but also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Khumbu region while experiencing the majesty of the world's highest peak.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Salleri by bus or Jeep (2362m, 12-13 hour drive)
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and start your journey to Everest Base Camp.

Day 2: Trek from Salleri to Nunthala (2500m, 5-6 hour trek)

Day 3: Trek from Nunthala to Bubsa (2500m, 5-6 hour trek)

Day 4: Trek from Bubsa to Surkhe (2400m, 5-6 hour trek)

Day 5: Trek from Surkhe to Phakding (6-7 hour, 2640m)

Day 6: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m, 5 hour)

Day 7: Acclimation Day In Namche

Day 8: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,867 m., 5-hour trek)

Day 9: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,260 m., 5-hour trek)

Day 10: Acclimation Day

Day 11: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930 m. 5-hour trek)

Day 12: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m.) and continue to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m.,) and return to Gorakshep (6-hour trek)

Day 13: Early morning, hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m.,) and trek to Pheriche (4,240 m. 5-hour trek)

Day 15: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800 m., 6-hour trek)

Weather and Seasons: The Everest Base Camp trek can be done throughout the year, but the best time to trek is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. These months offer stable weather conditions and clear mountain views. However, weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, and trekkers should be prepared for changes in weather and temperature.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
