The 35-minute exciting Kathmandu-Lukla flight starts from the Tribhuwan International Airport during the off-season, treating passengers to breathtaking views of the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding hills, and moves forward following the Dudh Koshi river, slowing transiting the views to terraced fields, remote villages, and the snow-capped peaks.
There are regular flights operating from Kathmandu to Lukla, but during the peak seasons (March, April, May, October, and November), the flights will be operated from Ramechhap due to air traffic expansion.
