Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport
Your journey begins with a warm welcome to Kathmandu as you land at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Upon your arrival, a friendly representative from Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours will greet you.
Day 2: Ride from Kathmandu to Khurkot (120 km) 4-5 hours
Today your journey takes you from Kathmandu to Khurkot, covering approximately 120 kilometers over a 4-5 hour ride. As you depart from Kathmandu, you’ll navigate through a blend of urban landscapes and suburban scenery, gradually transitioning into more serene rural areas.
Day 3: Ride from Khurkot to Pattale (124 km) 5-6 hours
Today the journey continues from Khurkot to Pattale, covering a distance of approximately 124 kilometers in 5-6 hours. The ride becomes more scenic and adventurous as you move deeper into the mountainous terrain.
Departing from Khurkot, you’ll follow a winding road that hugs the Sun Koshi River, offering views of crystal-clear waters and surrounding green hills. The route gradually ascends, leading you through forested areas, dotted with traditional Nepalese villages and terraced fields, where locals can often be seen engaging in daily farm life.
Day 4: Explore Pattale Bazaar & hike to View Point and Ride to Khurkot (124 km) 5-6 hours
Today you’ll start the day by exploring Pattale Bazaar and hiking to the Pattale View Point before riding back to Khurkot—a journey of approximately 124 kilometers over 5-6 hours. In the early morning, you’ll set out to discover Pattale Bazaar, a lively local market where you can witness the daily activities of the Sherpa and Rai communities.
The bazaar offers a chance to interact with locals, shop for handmade crafts, and enjoy traditional Nepalese snacks at small eateries. This is an excellent place to experience the unique cultural richness and traditional lifestyle of this highland community.
After exploring the bazaar, embark on a short yet rewarding hike to the Pattale View Point. The trail winds through pine forests and lush meadows and takes around 30-45 minutes to reach the top. From the viewpoint, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panorama of the Himalayas, with clear views of Mount Everest, Makalu, and other surrounding peaks on a clear day.
Day 5: Ride from Khurkot to Kathmandu (120 km) 4-5 hours
Today you’ll conclude your journey by riding from Khurkot back to Kathmandu, covering a distance of 120 kilometers in 4-5 hours. Departing from Khurkot in the morning, you’ll ride through familiar scenic landscapes with a mix of winding roads, lush green hills, and views of the Sun Koshi River.
Day 6: Departure to Airport
Today your journey with Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours comes to a close as you prepare for departure. After enjoying a final breakfast in Kathmandu, the team will assist you with checking out representative from Himalayan Adventure will arrive at your hotel to escort you to Tribhuvan International Airport in a comfortable vehicle.
