Description

You'll get to experience one of the most dangerous flights in the world and follow Sir Edmund Hillary's path to reach the base of the world's highest mountain.
Day 1: Arrival Day
Arrival at Kathmandu airport, meeting Himalayan Social Journey team, and transfer to the hotel. Orientation program starts at 5 p.m.
Overnight: Himalayan Suite Hotel

Day 2: Kathmandu to Lukla (2840 m) by flight or helicopter and trek to Phakding (2600 m) (3-4 hrs)
You will take an early flight to Lukla. The flight is dramatic and exciting at the same time. Upon reaching Lukla, you will hike up to Phakding.

Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3535 m) (5–6 hrs)
After an early breakfast, you will hike towards the starting point of the ECB journey. Namche Bazar is a beautiful and famous Sherpa village full of shops, cafes, and hotels.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (5–6 hrs)
This is a rest day. Have breakfast with a magnificent view of the Everest Range. Roam around and visit the gully-way shops and cafes.

Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3850 m) (5–6 hrs)
We ascend towards Tengboche village & has the Tengboche monastery, the biggest monastery in the Everest region.

Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4350 m) (5–6 hrs)
Our trail goes through lush forests. We can admire views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We pas through Imja Valley and Lobuche River to get to Dingboche.

Day 7:Acclimatization Day in Dingboche (4350 m)
Spending a day in Dingboche will help us acclimate to the high altitude. Admire the picturesque Imja Khola Valley and the Dingboche village.

Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4350 m) (5–6 hrs)
The trail drops to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, we come close to great peaks, like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal.

Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep (5160 m) (6-7 hrs)
The trek to EBC is not very difficult. We can enjoy amazing views of the Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori mountains from the EBC. After soaking in the beauty, we walk back towards Gorak Shep, where we spend the night.

Day 10: Hike to Kalapathar (5545 m) and Trek to Pheriche (5–6 hrs)
This may be the most opportune moment of the whole journey to snap amazing pictures of Everest and its neighboring peaks. Afterward, it's back to Gorakshep for breakfast and down to Pheriche.

Day 11: Trek down to Namche. (3535 m) (6-7 hrs)
The walk from Pheriche back to Tengboche is mainly downhill. We'll be in Namche by late afternoon and off to bed before the night.

Day 12: Trek down to Lukla (2840 m) (4-5 hrs)
We walk through the Sherpa villages with lots of prayer stones and prayer flags all over the village. You trek toward the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through several local villages. You arrive at Lukla in the evening & party with your trekking crew.

Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu by plane or helicopter. (1400 m)
You will catch the early morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla.
Overnight: Himalayan Suite Hotel

Day 14: Departure Day
(Overnight except in Kathmandu will be in guesthouses)
