Best Time to Trek
The best times for the EBC trek are pre-monsoon (March to May) and post-monsoon (September to November). During these periods, the weather is generally stable, the skies are clear, and the temperatures are moderate, making for ideal trekking conditions.
Outline Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel, pre-trek briefing.
Day 2: Fly to Lukla (2,800m) and Trek to Phakding (2,652m)

Early morning flight to Lukla, trek to Phakding (3-4 hours).
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Trek through pine forests, cross Dudh Kosi River, climb to Namche Bazaar (6-7 hours).
Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

Acclimatization hike to Everest View Hotel, visit Sherpa Culture Museum.
Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)

Trek through rhododendron forests, visit Tengboche Monastery (5-6 hours).
Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)

Descend to Imja Khola River, climb to Pangboche, continue to Dingboche (5-6 hours).
Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Optional hike to Nangkartshang Peak, rest for acclimatization.
Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4,940m)
