Day 1: Kathmandu to Dharapani
Unwind on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, soaking in the beauty of the Nepali countryside. Transfer to Dharapani by jeep, a charming village nestled amidst rolling hills.
Day 2: Dharapani to Chame
Embark on your trek! Traverse grassy fields with breathtaking views of Annapurna II. Explore the rich culture of a Bhote village and Buddhist temple in Bagarchhap. Continue through lush forests to reach Timang, with Lamjung Himal as your backdrop. The trail then levels out, leading you to Chame, where a cozy teahouse awaits.
Day 3: Chame to Upper Pisang
Gear up for a scenic journey from Chame to Upper Pisang. Witness the majestic Lamjung Himal and savor the sweetness of a local apple orchard. Ascend to the Bhratang Valley before descending to the charming villages of Pisang or Upper Pisang.
Day 4: Upper Pisang to Manang
Prepare to be awestruck! Today's trek offers stunning views of the Manang Valley, Tilicho Peak, Annapurna III, and Annapurna IV. Cross the Marsyangdi River on a traditional wooden bridge and pass through the villages of Mungji and Braga. Finally, reach the delightful town of Manang.
Day 5: Acclimatization in Manang
Take a well-deserved rest in Manang to adjust to the higher altitude. Explore the surrounding area with optional day hikes. Witness the power of nature at an icefall or marvel at the Gangapurna Glacier Lake.
Day 6: Manang to Yak Kharka
Embark on a scenic journey to Yak Kharka. While the distance is shorter, the altitude gain will require a slower pace. Breathe deeply and enjoy the vast mountain vistas that unfold before you.
Day 7: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
The path from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi offers a gradual ascent to a scenic hilltop, followed by a descent towards the headwaters of the Marsyangdi River. Cross a hidden wooden bridge and ascend the mountain path on the river's right bank. Immerse yourself in the grandeur of the Himalayas as you approach Thorong La Pass.
Day 8: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La Pass
Conquer the mighty Thorong La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the world! This challenging yet rewarding day will provide you with a sense of accomplishment and breathtaking views of Mustang Valley and Dhaulagiri. Descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site.
Day 9: Muktinath to Pokhara
After Breakfast, ride from Jomsom to Pokhara on a local bus . Reflect on your incredible adventure as you witness the majestic mountains one last time. Unwind in Pokhara, a charming lakeside city, before returning home with unforgettable memories.
