The Annapurna Region is one of the most beautiful and alluring regions to be explored in Nepal. You can discover its many rhododendron forests and majestic views of the surrounding mountain peaks throughout this scenic 10-day hike.
Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu Airport (1,345 meters)
You will be met by your representative before being transferred to your hotel for a short brief about the trekking and some refreshments. That evening you will overnight at your Kathmandu hotel.
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
On your second day you will travel for 5-6 hours to Pokhara by tourist bus. In the evening you'll have free time to self-explore
around Phewa Lake, before spending the night at the Hotel Third Pole or similar.
Day 3: Drive to Modktu (1,250 meters), Chhomrong Trek (2,170 meters)
On your third day you will begin the trek from Siwai. You will travel in a shared vehicle for 3 hours to Siwai, traversing along the snake-line road via Naudanda, Nayapul, and Birethanti. The trekking route from Siwai to Chhomrong is very picturesque, and at the conclusion of the day you will stay at the Teahouse Lodge.
Day 4: Trek to Himalaya Hotel (2,840 meters)
Take a morning walk downhill to the river, before crossing a short bridge and heading up to Sinuwa, at 2,330 meters. This is a lonely spot with a few shops and nice lodges, and from there you can walk into the cool forested area of oaks-rhododendron and pines trees before taking a short steep descent to Bamboo. Bamboo is a small settlement with 5-6 lodges surrounded by bamboo trees which sits on the Modi River Gorge.
Day 5: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 meters)
Today the trail continues steeply up to the Hinko Cave. You will soon begin a short descent before crossing a rocky moraine. Following that, a short climb will take you to Deurali. That night you will overnight at the Tea House Lodge.
Day 6: Trek back to Bamboo (2,310 meters)
Day 6 will begin with you observing the splendid sunrise from the Annapurna Base Camp. After breakfast, you will begin to descend. You will take a hike down to Modi Khola at Bamboo, which contains an elevation drop of 1,700 meters. That evening you will overnight at the Bamboo Tea House lodge.
Day 7: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Hot Spring (1,780 meters)
Jhinu Danda is the destination set for today. From Bamboo you will first hike up to to Kuldhigar, where the office of ACAP and the visitor center is located. The Jhinu hot spring is then 15-20 minutes downhill from Jhinu Danda. You can relax your tired muscles by taking a relaxing dip in the hot spring bathing pool, before your evening is spent at a lodge in Jhinu Danda.
Day 8: Jhinu to Pokhara (1,640 meters)
Today you can choose to go to the hot spring once more, before beginning your trek down to Nayapul. You will then drive back to Pokhara. where you will overnight at the Hotel Third Pole.
Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu
On your second last day you will travel back to Kathmandu by tourist bus, a journey which takes about 6 hours. That evening you'll overnight at the Thamel Eco Resort or Skyline Hotel.
Day 10: Kathmandu
On your final day you will transfer to the international airport for your final flight departure.

You must present either proof of full vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 3 months, or a negative test taken no more than 24 hours before the activity starts
All participants over 12 years old must present one of the following: proof of full vaccination, proof of first vaccination administered at least 22 days ago, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 6 months, or a negative PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts
Masks are optional for this activity
All participants who are 12 years and older must present a Reinforced Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Reinforced Green Passes can only be obtained by uploading either proof of full vaccination or proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months to either the Green Pass or Covid Certificate app
Masks are required while indoors
Your guide will greet you inside the airport arrivals terminal with a play-card stating your name.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
